چکیده
Photodynamic Therapy of Tumors In article number 2205440, Zhiyang Liu, Quan Li, and co-workers exploit the hypoxic properties solid tumors to construct a hypoxia-responsive photosensitizer. When non-fluorescent photosensitizer enters tumors, it is reduced by overexpressed azoreductase generate fluorescent with aggregation-induced emission property, which can realize fluorescence-activatable image-guided photodynamic therapy dual-organelle (lipid droplets lysosomes) targeting.

Programmed photosensitizer conjugated supramolecular nanocarriers with dual targeting ability for enhanced photodynamic therapy.
A programmed supramolecular nanocarrier was developed for multistage targeted photodynamic therapy. This smart nanocarrier exhibited enhanced cellular uptake and controlled mitochondria targeting, as well as an excellent photodynamic therapeutic effect after light irradiation.
متن کاملPolymeric photosensitizer prodrugs for photodynamic therapy.
A targeting strategy based on the selective enzyme-mediated activation of polymeric photosensitizer prodrugs (PPP) within pathological tissue has led to the development of agents with the dual ability to detect and treat cancer. Herein, a detailed study of a simple model system for these prodrugs is described. We prepared "first-generation" PPP by directly tethering the photosensitizer (PS) phe...
متن کاملChlorin e6 combined with albumin nanoparticles as a potential composite photosensitizer for photodynamic therapy of tumors.
AIM To synthesize and to study for photodynamic activity a composite photosensitizer consisting of chlorin e6 and human serum albumin nanoparticles (HSA NPs). MATERIALS AND METHODS Starting from sorption-purified HSA, the albumin nanoparticles with a different degree of lysine residues cross-linking (10; 20; 40, and 100%) were obtained by the coacervation method. The HSA NPs were used for syn...

متن کاملNew Peptide-Conjugated Chlorin-Type Photosensitizer Targeting Neuropilin-1 for Anti-Vascular Targeted Photodynamic Therapy
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a cancer treatment modality that requires three components, namely light, dioxygen and a photosensitizing agent. After light excitation, the photosensitizer (PS) in its excited state transfers its energy to oxygen, which leads to photooxidation reactions. In order to improve the selectivity of the treatment, research has focused on the design of PS covalently attac...
